Kurt Perez Career Journey
Kurt Perez built his career behind the camera, not in front of it. A 2019 GoFundMe page created for him described him as a hardworking and knowledgeable technician in the New York City film community. That same fundraiser said he worked as a grip, which is an important crew role in film and television production.
His career path shows steady technical work in the entertainment industry. Instead of public fame, his value came from set experience, practical skills, and dependable support for production teams. That kind of work matters on every project because it helps keep shoots organized and efficient. The public record about his life focuses mainly on his crew work, which is why he is remembered as a behind-the-scenes professional.

Kurt Perez in Film and Television
Public credit listings show that Kurt Perez worked on several well-known productions. IMDb search results list Avengers: Endgame, Set It Up, and Daredevil among his known projects. Other public sources also connect him to Red Oaks. These credits show that he worked across both film and television, which is a strong sign of a broad and active production career.
The nature of those credits suggests steady crew involvement rather than a short or isolated job. Working on different types of productions usually requires flexibility, physical stamina, and strong on-set knowledge. The GoFundMe description of him as a technician fits that picture well, since grips and other crew members often move between projects as production needs change.

Kurt Perez and The Blacklist
Kurt Perez became widely searched because of his connection to The Blacklist. Public coverage of the show said that he was a crew member and that the series later honored him with a tribute card. The tribute mattered because it pointed to the real people who help make a series possible. Perez was not an on-screen character, but he was part of the crew that supported the show’s production. Public reports described him as someone well known in the cast and crew community, and the tribute reflected that respect.

The GoFundMe page created for him had already shown how well known he was among local film workers, and later coverage confirmed that he was remembered by the show. That combination of public support and on-screen tribute shows that his work had a real impact on the people around him.
